These vest are made from felt.  Felt is a non woven fabric like what is used for crafts.  It is very economical, washable, fade resistant and great for displaying patches and pins and decorations.

This vest comes with 2" Yellow Felt Letters that will allow you to spell "MOOSE"

The felt is made of machine washable 100% polyester. Our felt is made from recycled plastic bottles...that's so cool!

Because of the nature of the manufacturing of felt, the thickness varies slightly but averages 1/16"

Tips on measuring:

• Measure the chest with a shirt on under the arms

• Loosen the tape measure as you would like the vest fit to allow for movement and growth. 

• Measure from the middle of the shoulder to the waist for the desired length.

For example:  If you measure your child around the chest with the tape measure snugly against their chest then loosen the tape measure 3 or 4 inches because that is how you want the vest to fit.  You do not want the vest skin tight.  If your child plans to wear the vest for a few years you might add another 2 to 3 inches on to allow for growth.
